Hello
i have problem with opens files
its not a problem for matter effect its that i dont know to open files
for example: i download winamp for linux
the file name is like that
Winamp-0.a1-1.i386.rpm
whan i click twice on the file hes ask me
open with ...
and let me choose some program
how can i open files ? thanks a lot for yours time ...

אתה כבר לא בחלונות. לא ככה מתקינים תוכנה.
כמעט כל תוכנה שתחפוץ בה נמצאת במאגרים של ההפצה שלך (לפי הסיומת rpm והעובדה שאתה חדש, אני מנחש שזו מנדרייק). הדרך הנכונה להתקין תוכנה היא לא להוריד איזה rpm בעצמך, אלא לפתוח את "מנהל החבילות" (או איך שקוראים לזה אצלך), לחפש שם את התוכנית, ולהתקין משם.

הערה (לקהילה, לא לשואל): השאלה הזו נשאלת המון בימים האחרונים, בגרסאות שונות, אבל לא עולה בדעתי מילת חיפוש לפורום שהיתה מחזירה את התשובה, ולא מצאתי התייחסות לנושא במה-קורה. אני עיוור, או שזה באמת חסר?
